Operating Systems

Hebrews 11:29-31

Which operating system are you running on? Are you operating in the system of faith, or are you operating in doubt, fear, and unbelief? One system will lead to destruction through judgment, and the other will lead to life everlasting! One house is foolishness, and one house is wisdom. One house will crumble and fail while the other will succeed and remain.

The scriptures referenced for you to read are: Hebrews 11:29-31, Exodus 14-15, Joshua 2 & 6, Ephesians 2, Revelation 1:3, 15:1-4, 17-19:8

Both examples in Hebrews 11:29-31 are of redemption, grace, mercy over judgment, and death. The people crossing the Red Sea experienced deliverance from the hand of Pharaoh. Rahab was spared from the complete destruction of Jericho because she had heard about the Red Sea crossing 40 years earlier and feared God more than she feared the king’s men. Both Moses and Rahab showed that they believed and trusted God by what they said and did! These examples were to show us how God faithfully worked through their faith, by their actions. The faith we see in these two examples is the kind needed to step out of what is seen and into what is unseen.

Faith isn’t always the logical choice! The 3 verses in Hebrews 11 show supernatural events God did in the sight of the people because of a few faithful followers!

Our faith that Jesus died, was buried, rose from the dead, and is now living and sitting at the right hand of the Father in heaven is not logical. The Bible says that we who function in the system of faith have been adopted as sons and daughters of God. It says that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places at this very moment! It proclaims that Jesus is coming back to save His people and to judge the living and the dead. How does any of this sound logical?

The final operating system we see God destroy is in Revelation; the mother of ALL harlots who rides on the back of the beast and his system of governance. I would say this harlot is an example of the house of the foolish woman found in Proverbs 9. In the first part of Proverbs 9, there is mention of another woman and the house of wisdom that is crying out to the naive to enter her house; I would say this is an example of Rahab’s house! Rahab’s house had the victory over the Jericho system of operation. Moses also had the victory over the house of Egypt! Both Moses and Rahab experienced life! Both the Egyptians and the people of Jericho experienced death!

Which house are you dwelling in?

Our prayer is that you are dwelling in the House of the Lord! If you find yourself functioning in the wrong operating system, which isn’t compatible with faith, W.E., pray that you repent and leave the house that’s destined to be destroyed! W.E. pray that Jesus would spare us and that we would be found among the land of the living! Our prayer is for freedom over the house of bondage and sin! It is for your salvation, God’s grace/mercy, and Christ’s redemption over your house. It is for you to escape the judgment and the wrath that comes upon this entire world! It is that you enter into His dwelling safely with all the people of God!
